shifted back to robinson point at raffles place since last thurs.
the building is juz next to lau pa sat.
knocked off from raffles dat evening.
n reported to work at raffles on fri.

i feel abit strange working in this new office.
having to cope wif so many bosses ard, wif so many eyes...
n my baby is in the same office.
i dun like tongues to wag or any rumors spreading ard.

n so, i kept telling my guys in the same project CCL2, "the time before i punch my card in the morning n right after punching the card in the evening is all my own private time".
=)

i hope everyone can see wad i mean. work means work.

and...
i m now the unofficial deputy project manager.
my payslip states the dpm allowance.
my admin n boss knew i m the dpm cos they applied the allowance for me.
n my admin told some staffs from KPE dat i m the new appointed dpm for CCL2.

i m still waiting for the Monthly Progress Meeting chaired by LTA but LTA staffs kept delaying.
i want to know what will happen to the organisation chart.

nus email works wonder...
or being in nus really is so different.

1. Mum had difficulties trying to get someone to fix our gas cooker.
She called techno gas, someone picked up, hearing my mum's tone, speaking chinese, assumed my mum is an auntie and gave my mum sub-standard service when answering the call.
Mum complained to me, i was pissed.
i called up 1st, asked for the manager's contact (email). shoot an email to the website (using NUS email), c.c to many dunno who listed on the techno gas website.
within 10 mins, manager called up, very... v v v v politely handled the call while toking to me, kept apologising and settled the repair work by sending someone down within half an hr.

2. HP laptop bought in nus broke down. sent to computer centre in nus for repair. Need to wait 2 days for nus repair centre to send to HP. Need to wait 3 days for HP to repair. Need to wait 2 days for HP to send back laptop to nus. Total waiting time = 2 + 3 +2 + 2(week end included) = 9 days.
pissed. searched for hp email online, shoot email from nus account. half hr later, manager called. proposed to me dat someone will come to my residence to collect the laptop, repair 2 days and send back to my residence. Total waiting time = 2 days.

23/1: tendered letter to jap boss (project manager = PM) at 6pm.
24/1: day 1 morning, senior project manager (SPM) and PM negotiation.
afternoon, general manager (GM) called me back to HQ for negotiation.
25/1: day 2 morning, spoke to PM to proceed with letter.
afternoon, GM called for negotiation.
evening, PM negotiated with me.

Result - climb the corporate ladder.
28 years old, less than 1 year in company, grade 3 engineer.

i've tendered my resignation letter.
i feel sad and real bad to my jap project manager.
i 've really let him down.
i leave not because of the work here (i like my job cos i noe wad i m doing n i feel happy to be able to clear the submissions and report by LTA/BCA), or the people (i get along well from top to bottom, from all the bosses to even my site supervisors-banglas).
Its the company's fault. The management system. The pay.

Consider the salary after all the increments in july, and dec, it still can't match up to wat i will be getting as a fresh grad in the new company.
n i will be working in the same industry, but consultants side.
higher level to the current position.

in my industry, developer is the top of the triangle.
next lower level will be the consultants.
lower one level will be the main contractor.
and the lowest level in the triangle will be the sub-contractor (so-called suppliers in supplying equipments or materials).

worked half day. same as xmas. company off.
met up wif dear after work.went shopping and ate lotsa food before gg home to rest for awhile before gg opw's house.
bought a braun buffel bag for moi sis.
dear oso bought some items there. i wanted to pay for her but she insisted on paying herself. =)
after counting down, everyone dispersed ard 2+am.
dear sent me home. she borrowed her dad's car juz to send me home dat nite.

met up wif my godbro for dinner on new year's day.
he's back for 2 weeks from US.
so sad dat he's gg back next tue. n wun b here for cny.

went to watch alien vs predator wif dear n our colleagues.

she's in the same company wif me. same job (mech engr), same department (engrg section) but different project. i'm in circleline 2, n she's in circleline 4/5.

went to gym after work on thur. need to go very often to make worth of the monthly subscription fees.

had gastric on fri so took mc n rested at home.
went for myo min han's wedding dinner at nite.

m working now, half day.

back from movie premiere Warlord at lido.
the movie ain't dat great.
luckily the show was free. hehz.
bro asked whether i need a pair of tix.
i asked for only one to spare the headache of who to ask n lest to get myself pissed wif no one replying yet again.
dis daes... there r more n more ppl who dun reply msges.
the damn thing is, if u do dat to them, they get pissed off n shoot u off wif idiotic msges.
so, the best is u dun msg them, n hope they dun msg u as well.
nothing will go wrong.
anyway, i will gif rating of 5 out of 10 for the show.
the worth watching part is only the 3 actors. u noe who.
the story plot is silly.

drove to work. had prata for bkfast!
went to amk hub fitness first on mon after work wif 2 other colleagues n a gal. had a great work out + sauna.

drove to work for the whole week..
cos bro went to japan wif my uncle.
wondering y my uncle din bring me along. when my jap is better than my bro.
hmm.. maybe he thinks cos i juz started work, so not gd to take leave for a week.
cooked sunny eggs, bacon n ham for bkfast on tue for myself, n on wed for my colleagues after they joked on tues dat i din prepare for them.
the aunties were saying that for years, no one prepared bkfast for them cos usually they are the ones preparing for others. they were grateful that i actually woke early to prepare for them.

went to zouk ytd nite, wif des n 4 pretty gals..
been sucha long time since i went on ladies nite.
usual place in the past was either chinablack or momo.
chinablack had already closed down n momo haf changed the management + the female manager whom i knew.

really been long. used to go wif the gal + the usual clubz gang.

des booked me for 31st nite.
n i booked my colleagues, poly frenz, uni frenz for 2nd n 3rd nov.

someone suggested dat i shud eat vegetarian for dis whole week... hahs..

been gg out almost everyday dis week, slept late n woke early for work...
quite tiring... maybe cos of aging already.. haha..
went bugis to pray today... asked for lots about some stuffs..

back from bugis.
went to pray, for my promotional exam. n for my safety.
thinking back on dat day's fall, half a step more n it wud haf been more serious than now.

anyway... went out wif mum. wanted to take her out for a good meal during lunch since i m on leave. but she ate bread n had coffee juz before gg out. hmm...
i told her dat since i m at home, of cos will haf better lunch together. thinking back, even wif frenz, i ate expensive food. if my mum is having bread only at home, wad kind of son cud i haf been?? all those clubbing sessions r worse. hmm. maybe shud cut down some unhealthy activites.
but still, brought her to ichiban sushi at amk hub cos i knew she wanted jap food on mday but we went to some other chinese restaurant instead cos we joined my aunt's family.
took 166 to bugis after dat, n went to the goddess temple as usual.
shopped at OG after dat.
cos she likes sesame paste so brought her to ah chew desserts. the stall din do a gd job today. cos they served burnt sesame paste. damnz. told my mum to take my peanut paste instead or maybe shud tell the stall owner. she said dun waste money n dun quarrel wif the staffs.
so, i ate hers so dat she cud take mine instead. =)
took 851 back home.
hand still hurt. shud i c the chinese physician???

wanted to update but after taking cough n flu med, slept like a pig...
before the med takes effect, shud do a quick post.

Fri nite:
supposed to meet everyone at 9pm outside mos but everyone was late.
i reached clarke quay mrt n saw ng n cy. so we walked over together n met up wif valen n opw.
susan came soon n we went thru the vip q. too bad ice wasn't ard at dat time. so gotta let them check my name from the guestlist.
went to smoove vip area for our table n i called the manager for my bro's bottle. now dat they cud recognise my face n even my name, getting thru long qs shudn't pose any probs anymore. quite fun chilling wif them after work. wif ppl aged 40, 30+, the mid 20s n late 20s.
they looked fierce at 1st... cos the 1st drink was chivas on the rock. wow.
but looked fierce only. haha.
din count the exact glasses i drank but had at least more than 5 from the 1st bottle.
everyone was asking me whether i was attached. hahs. n they gave an astonishing look when i told them i wasn't. but...... the hunt began. they went ard looking for gals for me. but they kept failing cos the gals haf bf wif them. so i juz kept laughing. if they nvr knew.
went to the dancefloor n susan still continued wif the hunt. asking me whether wan some western food, fast food, or even prata. haha.
lydia n her frenz came in n joined us.
desmond (safety officer) arrived n he paid to get in... waste the money. he liked retro music so i accompanied him n dance at the retro section. then to the main arena, n back to smoove.
susan was drunk, so opw drove her back n another fren (desmond from ccl 4/5).
ng was half dead on the sofa seat. cy was half gone too. opw ordered the 2nd bottle before he left. continued drinking wif lydia, valen n des. went to the dancefloor wif des n cy. by the time we got back, lydia n ng was gone too. only valen was seating alone. but he was drunk too.
he wanted to go out for a breather, n cy went out wif him. des was wif me but he fell asleep. haha. i drank alone. n got new frenz. ash n grace wif 3 other guys. had a few drinks wif grace n chat to her. wad a waste i told her. she's a lesbo.
des then told me he wanted to go out too n find valen n cy. they went ecg n jetty. told me to get out. before i cud meet them, cy msged me he vomitted n wanted to leave already. the other 2 oso cmi.
so, i carried on drinking (1/3 of the bottle). the manager came looking for me n had a chat wif him. my bro msged me saying he was at the main arena vip area n told me to look for him. but, in the end, he came wif a pretty babe rachel. he went back to the arena vip. i sat for awhile at smoove, kept the bottle n joined my bro.
he introed he yao dong to me. quite tall n suave but a playboy. toking to rachel the whole night. my bro introed a few more gals to me, krista, katherina, cindy n tinky. if i took fotos, u wud be surprised. n they are all singles.
was alright after drinking so much till the killer came. krista n another gal wanted a drink wif me. a glass of champagne. after dat little amt of drink. was a goner.
i held my bro, took a cab wif him cos both of us cud not drive anymore.
arriving our void deck, the 2 bros vomitted. haha.
i pat his back while he vomitted n he did the same for me too.
n we went home after comparing who vomitted more.
one by one, my colleagues smsed me saying they were paisei to leave me alone n left so early. n they thanked me for getting them in wif special treatment from mos staffs.
